Leonard Goncalo Mr. is back
Spend 2 very good days discovering the capital of Hungary.
2 funny things about Hungary/Budapest. One you can see/read in the title of this post. Hungary is the only country in the world where people write their names backwards. First family name, second comes your first name and only then your greeting. Crazy!!!
Second, that Budapest cames from the merger between Buda & Pest, previously 2 different cities. This simple fact totally slipped my memory disks ;-) Never stop learning.
Very nice city, extremely interesting "terror museum" about the nazi & soviet times in Hungary, beautiful Mathias Church and the views from Buda to Pest, great food, bloddy freaking cold as well.
Pics will follow tomorrow once Andreia is back.

Ganda Anibal
Portugal won and Anibal Cavaco Silva has now been elected President of the Republic of Portugal.
With a absolute majority in the government, 1st class President and no elections what so ever for the next 3,5 years, I believe Portugal has now another chance to recover the lost time and make its way into the competitive world and join the Top performing countries.

Electing a President for Portugal
I didn't make any mention about this process before here in this blog but this has been an election that I have been following quite closely. I believe that in many moments in time in the history of a country, their countrymen (and women) have the choice to make "choices" that will dictate how will the country evolve and develop itself in the next 10/15 years. I believe this is one of these moments and probably a very special one.
Like in some other moments of my country history, I believe that this election will dictate how stable will the country be in the next 5 year, how goal and results oriented will our politians will be.
Personally, I am this guy to win. I could name quite a few reasons but I will stick with just 2.
One, he was the only one who posted his application for such important position because he wanted to win and he has an agenda. Unfortunately and among 5 other candidates, he is the only one. Two, he has a very strong results oriented culture. Bring me results or your out. In a country where self-resfect has only fallen in the last years and where there is not a strong culture of leading by example and by achievements, I believe that this guy is the right guy for the position.
Rusults will start to be release in 20 minutes (ballots close at 7 pm Portuguese time). There's at least one portuguese in Brussels (I don't know if Ze Manel is here) glued to RTP International.
I will try to make some posts to relate the events of the next couple of hours.

Waiting on e-bay
Either it marks the beginning of changing my opinion or it was just a "give it a shot" attitude, the fact is that we decide later last week go ahead with a buy, took care of the procedures and are right now just waiting for the damn package to arrive on the mail.
Let's wait and see. Can't really wait to get the answer I am looking for and be able to trust the site.
All and all, if all goes well, we might be running a marathon this weekend seing this ;-)
PS: I Will post the answer later on in the week.

Happy Bday, Aseche
Yesterday we had a cool surprise dinner prepared for her followed by some bowling games. Awesome night yesterday!!!! And I'm so dead tonight... lol
Friday is the MP3 party and Saturday a reprise in Ase's birthday celebration (it seems that this year the trend is for everyone to celebrate their birthdays twice :D)
Spinning
Tomorrow I am going to the gym and I expect to make it again on time. At this point in time, it really feels great to find something that really pushes you to your limits and forces you to swet "like a pig".
Back to sports mania. And this time is for good.
